1949 Gibson F-12. One of the earliest F-12s with the typical postwar configurations tha include popst-war logo, crown inlay, larger peghead and fingerboard secured to the top. Maple back and sides, spruce top, maple neck. Includes orignal Gibson case. The top of this mandolin shows old finish wear and finish removed to increase bridge contact. Otherwise, in very nice original condition, and original frets with almost no wear. Recent set-up by Randy Wood. $3000 plus shipping.
