1960 Gibson RB-250 flathead Mastertone banjo #0-8405-15. Very good condition.

Features include mahogany neck and resonator; laminated mahogany resonator; 2 concentric rings on resonator; 1-pc flange; Bow-tie fingerboard inlay; bound Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard; "Mastertone" block before last fret; bound center-dip peghead with crown inlay and "Gibson" logo in pearl. The 20-hole flathead tone ring may have been added later. Original tuners and tailpiece are included in the original. Banjo has been upgraded with 2-band tuners, "Gibson" clamshell tailpiece and "drilled-through-the-peghead" cam tuners. This is a powerful, solid sounding Mastertone with one of the early postwar tone rings that are in high demand. The banjo is in great shape ready for another 6 decades of music.
